What's included?

Everything is sorted. You just show up. Surf, reset, and leave feeling unreal. The list below is the whole trip, no hidden extras.

  1. 01

Three nights in two private houses

Nine bedrooms across two properties a few doors apart, on a quiet stretch of coast above Watergate Bay. Both are yours for the retreat.

  2. 02

    Four personalised surf sessions

Filmed, with in-water coaching. The spot is chosen each day to match the conditions and where you are at.

  3. 03

Two video analysis and theory sessions

Watch back what you actually do in the water. You leave with a written plan for what to work on next.

  4. 04

A sauna and cold water recovery evening

Sauna, cold dips and hot tubs at Saunasa. The reward at the end of a cold day, and it does real work for sleep.

  5. 05

A group capped at ten, with two coaches

Small enough that everyone gets seen and everyone progresses. Not a packed camp.

  6. 06

A private chef for breakfast and dinner

Cooked for you morning and evening, so you can put the energy into surfing and resting instead.

Optional add-on: a massage on the Friday and Sunday evenings, arranged when you book.

Two houses. One private stretch of coast.

Nine bedrooms across two properties, a few doors apart, just outside Newquay at Watergate Bay. Both houses are yours for the retreat. We surf Fistral, Watergate Bay and quieter corners along the coast, picked out by local surfers.

A road map of the three days

Structured enough to build momentum. Loose enough to feel like time off.

Day 01

Arrive and exhale

  • A chef-cooked dinner together and a first look at where we will surf tomorrow.
  • Optional massage in the evening, booked when you sign up.
  • Nothing else asked of you. Put your feet up.
Day 02

Wash the cobwebs off

  • Evening recovery at Saunasa. Sauna, cold dips and hot tubs.
Day 03

Momentum

  • Slow morning again. Coffee and a chef-cooked breakfast, no rush.
  • Morning surf session.

Who is this trip for?

A weekend that means something.

  • Higher-level beginners finding their feet in unbroken waves.
  • Steady intermediates who want to stop plateauing.
  • Any ocean lover who wants three days with some weight to them.

Is this you?

  • You want fast, simple, clear coaching.
  • You are ready to stretch your comfort zone, in a safe way.
  • You love the idea of cold water, good people and good energy.
  • You prefer a small crew, not a packed surf camp.

If you nodded at most of that, this is your kind of trip and your kind of community.

Benefits

It's not just the weekend. It's the progression, and how you feel after.

  • Better waves, fewer peopleWinter is when Cornwall actually works. Cleaner swell, and line-ups you can breathe in.
  • Coaching built around youTwo coaches, ten people. Feedback that fits how you surf, not a faceless class.
  • Video from the waterYou see what you really do out there, not what you think you do. That is where the jump comes from.
  • Cold water, done properlyPaced sessions and a real sauna after. Good for circulation, sleep and a clearer head.
  • A plan, not just photosYou leave with written notes and drills to keep the progress going at your home break.
  • Good peopleSmall groups tend to stay in touch. You arrive with strangers and leave with a crew.

Before you ask

The things people want to know.

What level do I need to be?
You should be able to swim confidently and be comfortable in the sea. Confident beginners through to solid intermediates get the most out of it. If you are not sure where you sit, tell us and we will be straight with you before you book.
Do I need my own kit?
No. Winter wetsuit, boots, gloves, hood and boards are all provided and sized to you. Bring warm, dry clothes and something cosy for the evenings.
How cold is the water, really?
Around 10 to 12 degrees through the winter. The suits are good, the sessions are paced so you are not sitting around freezing, and the sauna after is the reward.
Can a non-surfing partner come?
The trip is built around the group surfing together, so places are for participants only. If you want the whole house for a private group, ask us about a full takeover.
How do I get to Watergate Bay?
Newquay is the nearest town, with a train station and a small airport. Once you are booked we send full travel notes and help coordinate lifts from the station.
What if the surf is flat or stormy?
Winter Cornwall nearly always has something. We pick the spot each day to match the conditions, and the coaches adjust the plan. If a session has to move, recovery and theory fill the gap.
How does booking work?
You reserve your place through the booking form, which covers rooms, what is included and how payment works. A deposit holds your spot, and it is refundable up to eight weeks before and transferable to another date up to six weeks before.
